A visit to Tone Fink is like visiting a Wunderkammer. In his studio in Vienna he has stored objects, sculptures and masks. Many furniture is made of papier-mâché. Beside their own works, delicate drawings by his daughter Katharina, who is also an artist, hang on the walls. The six-year-old granddaughter has become immortal in the great new artist's book.

On January 1, Tone Fink will be 75 years old. Strictly speaking, the tone is just 45, until 1974 there was the one born in the Schwarzenberg Bregenzerwald with his birth name Anton Fink. Only one journalist brought him to the idea of the artist's name. Anton had studied at the Vienna University of Fine Arts, with Maximilian Melcher and the great Max Weiler.
